Yes this is true, however has anyone ever looked how much the GOVERNMENT makes per gallon? Correct me if I am wrong, they make, state and federal taxes on gas, 35-60 cents per gallon. Depending on which state. Lets figure out how much they made last quarter!!
Oil companies get around 15 cents.
And I do own mutual funds in oil companies.

    BTW gas is 2.73 here.

Going on the exchange rate of £1.00=$1.70.

petrol in the UK is $6.23 for plain 95 ron unleaded.

Average is about £0.979 per Litre, 3.78 Litres to a gallon.
iirc Super Unleaded like Shell Optimax 98 ron is about £0.04-£0.06 more expensive.

And that is one of the cheaper places to buy gas

Saw that on the news. And that it's going up to $4.49 and the stations are still losing money.

Gas up across the bridge. At my Arco in City Heights Fairmont and Orange it's $3.03 Friday, April 21.
