There are a few gas station scenes in it, but I can't remember if the price of gas is posted. I'll have to play it again and look for cheap gas.

I remember when I got my license 20 years ago, it was around $.60/gal if I remember right.

LMAO at this thread four years ago. $2.03 for 91 octane; I'd be in heaven if I saw those prices right now. In CA, premium 91 is around $4.05 and regular 87 is at least $3.75. It's amazing that gas prices doubled in less than four years.....

Yeah no kidding. Go back to the first few pages of this thread when it was started back in 2004 and look at all the complaining. One of them got $1.87/gal! Can you imagine if that were still true!? It was only four years ago but I miss the good 'ol days. {sigh} I remember when I got my license 20 years ago, it was around $.60/gal if I remember right.

$4.22 for Super Plus at military installations in Germany. Still cheaper than the off base prices.

unfortunately the dutch government uses the car as a cash cow, and most of the taxes we pay for our car and gas goes to other things, just a small percentage of this tax get put into roads and so on.
The government wants us out of the car and into the public transport (which is expensive and takes a age to get there, even in a small counrty like ours).
To get to work I have drive 25 minutes, to get to work by public transport takes me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours I guess, there's no public transport near where I work, so I have to walk 15/20 minutes from the nearest bus depot or something.
So I need my car!

Those taxes are why the gas is so high over there, but at the same time, the roads are better over there too because there is actually money to fix them!

It is beginning to get crazy over here in The Netherlands (Europe), we pay $2.58 for a liter of 95 octane. That's $10.70 a gallon!
Oh well, the gas isn't that expensive, there's "only" about 70% taxes on it over here!
My car does about 31 mpg.
