Re: What are you paying for gas?
I've seen $2.16 to $2.23 a gal. It's a nice change to get back to near 20 buck fill-ups. $3 was a real kick in the tail.

Re: What are you paying for gas?
Here the price of petrol is on the way down - during the summer it was around €1.30 a litre but it is now down to about €1.12 a litre
Still nowhere near as cheap as you guys in the US have it!Last edited by Atlantean; Nov 5, 2008, 05:00 PM.

Re: What are you paying for gas?
I just went to Sams club today. Paid 3.09for premium for my Mach. I just did the math to figure out my mileage. I am getting 20.012 miles per gallon that is better than what my car should get.

As far as paying for gas, I really hope it gets lower. I gassed up Monday night after 306 miles for $19.

Re: What are you paying for gas?
it's all fluctuating with the stock market. since the market's dropped so much, so have oil prices. when the market goes back up, i'm sure oil will too. also, when gas was so high, americans made a radical change in how much gas we bought, which had an effect on prices.
2.18 here in sw missouri

Re: What are you paying for gas?
Everybody loves the idea that gas is getting cheaper, but my question is 'why' . How can a product go from $4.50 a gallon and a few months later be under $3.00 a gallon. What caused this to happen? They needed $4.00 plus a gallon to make a profit, now they make a profit on $3.00 a gallon. Why would the oil producing countrys want so much a barrel a few months ago, and now are giving it away so much cheaper?
