Hey...gas prices came down Friday here...two cents. A friend is in the fuel wholesale business...its funny because he said the price for stations dropped four cents.
been 4 days with same price here in Thief River Falls, MN.
wed i paid 3.99 for 91 at Phillips.
so sad though that the one place that had 92 non oxy (BP) is no longer. it sold to Tesoro about 3 months ago now. many of the BP's in the area have done that in the last 8 months in the area. some are now Tesoro and others are Cenex or Holiday.

Last stop was $4.29 for 91 earlier in the week...filled 'er up while it was cheap.
Speaking of cheap(er) gas, in high school I worked part time at a station and the price was under thirty cents a gallon....we pumped it for you, washed the windshield and checked the oil and tire pressure. Of course I was earning about a dollar an hour too (good money at the time).
All in all, better than the gas lines and rationing of the 70's when "gubmit" tried to "fix" the problem through legislation.
