Hello everybody

First post, why not in a gas prize thread... I bought yesterday 53.41 liters and it was 78.99 euros. Anybody have a calculator... 14.11 gallons and $123.83. Hmm $8.77 per gallon. Always a pleasure to visit gas station.

Two days ago filled up for 3.87 for 87 octane.

LMAO at this thread four years ago. $2.03 for 91 octane; I'd be in heaven if I saw those prices right now. In CA, premium 91 is around $4.05 and regular 87 is at least $3.75. It's amazing that gas prices doubled in less than four years.....

I believe Brandon sold his truck. He has a Avalanche now.

Gas here is now $3.19 and diesel is around 4 bucks a gallon. I feel sorry for the truckers.

No, not frustrating at all. I'm actually curious to hear what you are paying for gas. I'm just glad we aren't paying the same prices as most of Europe!

Last time I was over seas with the military, I want to say it was like 79 cents a gallon or something like that . It was around September of last year.

since my country is the biggest oil producers in the world, i'm not goin to tell u how much is the fuel in here. that would be frustrating for u....

What is a bit annoying though is to look back at the start of this thread and see this, the post that started it on May 15, 2004 - not quite 4 years ago.

I have to use 91 right now its at $2.03!

Only had my Ford Lightning for 5 months now but if the gas prices stay high to long I am going to have to sell it.

With gas prices now almost double what gb387 commented on here, I wonder if he did sell his truck? I know here in SoCal 91 octane is going for $3.85 to $3.98 per gallon.

But if you look at the price of a barrel of oil back when gb387 started this thread, about $40/bbl, and compare it todays price of roughly $110/bbl, the price of gas is rising slower than the crude is. If they were rising equally we'd be paying just over $5.50/gallon today.

$ 3.46 on the Illinois side of Mississippi River ( just over and into the state )

$ 3.26 in Missouri , St Louis ( there gas taxes are .20 cents lower )

It's around $3.15- $3.29 here in statesville,n.c. . thats for reg. unleaded though. Seen ultimate around $3.99
