Great point Nick.

One thing I've noticed after managing hundreds of classes and their sign-up threads is once you have around 30 people sign-up you tend to have 4-6 people that can't make it for all kinds of great reasons but only a few of these contact you to let you know.

That's one of the benefits to charging for a class, once a person has some money invested in to attending, when they find out they can't attend they're usually pretty good about contacting you because they want their money back. No money... no contact.

This is a free class out as an expression of Nick's good nature and passion for the craft, so lets all be respectful of his time and resources and if you cannot make it, then do contact him and let him know.

Could be in the future, but as of now I have no plans. We've just been incredibly busy this summer, and even though this is only one day, it takes time to plan and get everything set up. I'm just not sure if I'll have time to do this annually or not.

Nick, I was wondering if you could be so kind as to post the names of some nearby hotels. Also, is there anything that we need to bring to the class? Should be bring our machines, towels, etc. or will you have some for us to use?
