Re: Ultimate Polish
i"ve read about UP have some polishing oil on it. does it have any bonding issue if we top it with sealant? such as nxt/m21. do we need to IPA wipedown before? but i've also read that polishing oil can bring more wet/gloss to paint finish. slightly confuse here

Re: Ultimate Polish
Sorry for such a late reply. The first time I only tried it out on sections of my car by hand. Last weekend I hit the entire car with it using the D/A. My goodness, I don't even want to bother waxing this polish leaves such a amazing finish. But in the end I did follow up with liquid ultimate wax and D/A. It did take away the minor hairline scratchs/swirls nicely. I'll need to go back and give #7 a shot but for now I love, love the ultimate polish.

Really like how it performs on delicate paint.

Re: Ultimate Polish
I am truly impressed with UP! I wet sanded down a scrap fender to remove some scratches and orange peel, then buffed out the sanding marks with UC and an orange polishing Griot's pad. Then I used UP and the shine and gloss really popped more than I expected. I was skeptical that it would do much, but I am a true believer now! It was like UP made the paint brighter. Love that stuff.

#7 will never be redundant as far as I´m concerned

Re: Ultimate Polish
LS1 monster, does it leave the finish as wet and glossy as #7, seems like with the mild corrective abilitis in UP along with the high gloss, #7 has almost become redundant??

Re: Ultimate Polish
I picked up a bottle of the Ultimate polish..finally got around to trying it out. Goes on easy and comes of easy. I love it...I think more than #7. Can't wait to apply it entirely to my car.

Re: Ultimate Polish
Applying UP would definitiely work well to remove a previous wax layer. Plus, you're getting the added benefit of the polishing oils in the same step.
It's probably a bit more work than just claying but if you're prepared to do it, then I'd say go for it.

Re: Ultimate Polish
Just wanted to throw a question in here real quick, since I'd like to try both NXT and ULW on my new car arriving this week. Would glazing with UP before waxing function well to remove a previous wax or would I be best served by just claying? Using the UP seems to be more cost effective, and possibly healthier for the paint.

I noticed that UP was being a bit stubborn on my dark green Mustang as well. The end result isbut I also learned not to be stingy with the amount of UP to use. Wipes off MUCH easier when its still very wet on the surface.
