      May be off topic but after a day of claying and polishing that made up my mind what to have for dinner especially the garlic bread and cabernet......

          You don't need the crushed red pepper, only if you like it a bit spicey.

            just wanted to say thanks for all the help guys, came out great and my girlfriend was very impressed.

            didnt find the crushed peppers in the end, but i found this chilli pepper blend and next to it was a garlic one.

            tasted really good, i got just the right amount of chilli too.
            we used to get a tomato and mascarpone pasta sauce, so next time im going to add some of that and see how that turns out

                IMO, Basil, garlic and some Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a little salt makes the sauce yummy! Lots of Fresh Basil and Garlic....
