I have a couple of Meguiar's branded windshield sunshades I've used and loved for years. They are finally wearing out. I don't see them on the web site. These were the spring-wire/mylar type. You still have these for sale?
Maybe that thread should be moved to New Product Suggestions?
Oh, before I forget to ask... what is work? I don't seem to understand that concept.

LOL! I pop the hood for a minute or so when I get there, then close it and walk to my office. The car makes a lot of heat (as do most Corvettes), and I always worry that maybe it's not so good for the paint over time, all that heat soaking into the hood after a drive.
At home, I always pop the 'vette and 'roara hoods in the garage. I don't know if it helps, but it makes me feel better.
I remember when I first got my 1987 'vette. I drove it home, parked it, and as I was getting out, there was just tons of heat rolling out from under the car. I was afraid I'd made a huge mistake and bought some big lemon. But a buddy of mine with an L98 Camaro told me that it's normal and those engines just make a boatload of heat.
Considering the ZR-1 makes 135 hp more than my L98 did, it does a great job of staying cool, and when the fans kick on, they move a ton of air. But the first time I got out and that heat was just pouring off the car, I remembered my first drive in my first Corvette.

Interesting... There is a guy at work who has vette very similar to yours and says the same thing... they tend to run hot. Opeing the hood sure won't hurt anything.
Easy decision for me - i'll always opt to deal with the sun rather than tree droppings (or whatever else drops from within). Much rather to use a duster before i go than to have to wash.

I park my car in the sun at the far end of the lot, where there are fewer cars and I can always find a space where no other car parks next to, behind, or in front of me. No door dings, no bumper taps. I walk an extra 100 yards for this luxury, but I can always use a little extra exercise And because I work on a Navy base, I feel secure leaving my car so far away from the other vehicles. I avoid parking under trees primarily for the tree sap and bird dropping hazards, but also because you never know when a strong gust will drop a branch on your hood.
In shopping centers, at my gym, and other public parking I try to find an optimal parking space (a wider parking space, something next to a parking lot island, or next to another well cared for vehicle) relatively closer to other cars. Parking farther away is less of a luxury than at work because (IMO), well maintained cars parked away from other vehicles are vandal and burglar targets.
On my residential street where I have no offstreet parking, I use my 15 year-old Civic to hold a space in front of my house for my newer vehicle. Every morning and night I play the neighborhood valet as I switch out my Hondas.
I park in the sun, and try to park away from others as much as possible. I always try to take an end spot so at least one side is safe from other cars parking next to me.
The double parking idea and parking way out in no-mans land: I'm not sure about that. Almost seems like an invitation for some demented jealous fool to cause damage or theft. I wouldn't dare do that where I live, as people go out of their way to destroy something nice.
before i got laid off i worked at a factory, just had a single big parking lot, parked where ever i could, pref. not under trees so i wouldnt get sapped!
