I guess I also take for granted how lucky I am to have built some knowledge of paint correction.

Sorry you're having to go through all of this David. I hope that you can get it corrected to you specs without anymore grief.

    Thx Nick,
I wish you could see what I see everyday. I am not as anal as you might think but too look at what I see everyday is horrible. I dont have the knowledge but what I see in my paint , it cant be just regular swirls. It just seems way to excessive. I'm waiting for Andy to come check it out and I'll let you know what he says.

Sounds good. I'd like to see what kind of defects you have.

Just an update. I talked to David last night and I am going to take a look at his vehicle in the very near future. I will take my camera and if it is OK with him I will post some pictures so you can all see it. Unless David could post some here. Either way, I will try to help him out if I can.

Re: Lemon Law for Defective Paint

Just met with Andy.....good guy.. He doesnt think it as bad as I'm making to be and he can take care of it. There are fine scratches in the clear which I can see clearly but I guess not as horrible as I have made it out to be. . I probably am not a good cutomer for black...

FYI... I am not a sue happy person. Never sued anyone for anything before. I only took the steps I have because of the way Nissan ( dealer and corp ) have treated me. So one day I heard a commercial on the radio for this lemon lawyer so I called. They kept calling me back to pursue a case so I finally said wha the heck, it wont cost me a penny and maybe I'll get the paint corrected.
So again thx to all for recommending Andy. He's gonna hook me up one day in the near future...

                      Dave,

It was a pleasure to meet you today. You are not "crazy" you are just "car crazy" which most of us here are. I do think we can eliminate some if not all of the issues that you see. Like I said when you are finished with Nissan, I would definately like to help you take care of your vehicle. We will do it together and in the spirit of "each one, teach one" we will get it done.

                      Andy

who do you think pays in the end ? You and all of us. Running a body shop i have to fight with lawyers everyday and some days i hate getting out of bed knowing they are going to be reaching into my pocket again and again.shops are not allowed to ban together due to anti trust to fight them so when can win a small battle now and then but due to there size the war is theirs.

I answered those questions in this thread already. Read my earlier posts.

Lets keep this thread family friendly and agree that while we all might not see eye to eye on all the topics brought up in this thread that here on MOL on a public thread we're not going to turn this into any kind of Flame War.

                                Thank you.
