I dunno.. I like how they had to point out that a steering wheel was standard...

Though another article says it has a top speed of 45mph.

EDIT:

An article on MSNBC says top speed of 60.... maybe all the details are not final yet.

If the top speed is 45, it will get run over around here. Nobody goes the speed limit and 45 is pretty slow.

The bigger question is how long will it run?

That really isn't a car that will work well in America IMO. You get hit by any full-size vehicle, let alone a truck, SUV, or 18-wheeler in that little thing...

It is not intended for U.S. or any other western market. (safety standards are no where near 1st world requirements) The marketing target group is those that are currently on two wheels, but have worked hard to attain the wherewithal to finance a car in this price range.

I do like the concept and aim though. Find a need a fill it.

I wonder if they would allow those on a golf course in lieu of a golf cart? Probably not because it would deprive them of cart fee revenue. It would be a time saver, as you could drive right up to the tee and you wouldn't have to look around for a parking spot. And if you get caught in a thunderstrom you would be protected!
