I saw someone clean their car with Swarfega once(don't know if you get swarfega in the states?Hand cleaner).When I asked why,he said it removed oily spots and tar.He was using the stuff that had sand in it.!



Not a car cleaning Q,but dumb just the same.I had an associate at work who was fed up with people stealing his wheels.So,he welded the wheel nuts! He said to me..."That'll show 'em"

Dumbest thing I ever seen some do while cleaning their car....well they did a quick detail using Stoner's Invisible Glass. What's even dumber was that I turned around and did the same thing! Hey it was before I was schooled in the art of proper detailing!

What's the most stupid looking car you ever saw?
We have a Honda Accord in our area that is painted up like the General Lee. There's even a boat around here painted the same way!
I'll have to snap a pic the next time I see them.

When I was going to college, there was this car that a student had that would start talking to a person walking by. If you touched the car then it would start screeming "help help your touching me!!" To say the least it sent the campus police into a frenzie trying to find the person that was being harmed.When they found out it was a car and it only took a person walking by to set it off, they strongly encouraged the person to not turn on the security system on the car.

That depends. If we're talking about an Excursion, then I'd go to the gym. If we're talking about an Explorer or a CRV, then I'd detail it.
