Last night I paid $2.92 to fill up our mini-van. Took our sedan today and the same station is $2.98. Costco Inglewood by the way.

Going on the exchange rate of £1.00=$1.70.

petrol in the UK is $6.23 for plain 95 ron unleaded.

Average is about £0.979 per Litre, 3.78 Litres to a gallon.
iirc Super Unleaded like Shell Optimax 98 ron is about £0.04-£0.06 more expensive.

And that is one of the cheaper places to buy gas

Different Costco = different prices. I have found that stores in less "affluent" areas tend to have lower prices.

Way too much! $1.09/ litre or about $4.25/ gallon and that's not premium either.
