    You are welcome!

I too was always curious as well. I knew it was louder but that was my subjective opinion. So I thought, what the heck, let's find out....

I just bought this Flex polisher a couple weeks ago, light weight and has plenty of power. I would say to someone who gets worn out from using a rotary, this thing is a good alternative. I've been working on a black Impalla that's in my garage with 105 and a white Lake County pad and it works like a charm.

The one I have is a L3403 and it works with both the the LC-CCS 6.5 inch pads or the meguiars 6.5" pads. I just happened to buy some last time from ADS and the white one works really well with the 105.

I love my Makita. I feel the Dewalt is a bit heavier making it more difficult for me to work on the side panels.

it seems that you use adaptor to work with meguiar backing plate? is that true?

Yes, that's an adapter that I have.

Not sure about the LC yellow pad versus the meguiars marroon pad, but I would say the white LC pad is close to the meguiars yellow polishing pad.

                            hey hemin8r
why do you have an adaptor on your makita? Is it for the extra height?
I've got a makita and use the W64 backing plate so I can switch from the pad I'm using on my G100 to my makita and don't need a adaptor?

I'm really close to buying the Flex L3403VRG rotary buffer. Does anyone have any good or bad things to say about it? Any of your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
