  • First time using the new NXT Tech Wax 2.0

Well...I purchased Meguiar's giftpack from Wal-Mart for $24.88, came with NXT Tech Wax 2. I normally don't use NXT for my car, always use Yellow Wax/Gold Class Liquid Wax for mine, but I have plenty time to try it out during Holiday weekend

Here is new bottle with old version.

Applying wax by hand was pretty easy, easy on, just like first NXT.

I am ready to remove NXT 2 with GA-100 and Gold Class MF thing

WOW!! Its very clear, once you wipe NXT, you can see clear finish!

I haven't see this deep clear finish with older NXT.

I used Wheel Cleaner + Hot Tire Dressing in the package to finish off, NXT Tech Wax 2.0 seems to be very good choice for deep, crystal clear finish and I normally see streak on black paint after removing wax, but it was easy on and off.
    Great product!

Many people are singing the praises of NXT 2.0. Pictures and process such as yours are becoming common place. It appears that Meguiars has done it again.

    Nice work!!

Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0 First Time!

I can't wait for my NXT 2.0 to arrive in the mail now! My Corvette is also black, and so it's good to hear other black owners that are impressed with the new NXT. I have always loved how the old versions of NXT and #21 made my black finish look very dark and also how well they covered up minor imperfections too!

I think the most exciting part of NXT 2.0 for me is the fact that it now incorporates the same water fearing technology of UQD. That's one thing I was hoping Meguiar's was going to do when I first started using UQD. I always thought that if they could put that technology into one of their LSPs it would be a dream come true for me. Having that technology is very important for black car owners, as I've found it reduces the amount of dust that sticks to the finish. It also reduces the amount of water spots on the paint, and as a result of less water spots, the car ends up looking less dirty when you drive in the rain too.

cafemoc, Wow!! that is truly impressive work there. I came to same conclusion about NXT 2.0. It really does seem more clear than the old version. I really feels slick and smooth too.

And for those who still think water beading is the end all, be all of protection they can't say anything bad about 2.0 either.

            Sure looks nice!

I've had a couple of brief chances to use a bit of the NXT 2.0... it really is nice stuff. I also like how UQD complements it!

I just finished off an old bottle of NXT Tech Wax today. I will be picking up the new one this weekend. Thanks Toshi for the input. I can't wait to see your new ride.

                            Hello cafemoc,
Your car is very neet. i read so much good about NXT 2.
I would be keen to know what difference you notice when you changed from GC wax to NXT 2 ?
my car is dark blue and i use GC liquid wax over DC 2.

It is simply one of the BEST LSPs I've ever used. I estimate that I've used 100+ too.

I would put it up against ANY higher priced items.......looks or durability.
