Re: First time using the new NXT Tech Wax 2.0

I had a problem the last two times using NXT 2.0 on my black Scion xB. I do the work in the garage so the car isn't hot or anything and use my DA to wax the entire car. I let sit for 15mins or so, and then begin hand removal of the wax.

Lately though, I get streaking. It will wipe off clean, but under a xenon light I get fine streak lines, almost like faint swirls. If you didn't know, that's what you would think they were. I have gone over the car three times now trying to get rid of the streaking and it gets a little better each time, but still a pain.

I don't remember old NXT doing this to me, but maybe it's due to the high heat and humidity in the area today...

What will cause it to streak like this? The first few times I used it I had no problems. I dunno

    Thanks!

I haven't done the Explorer yet' But I couldn't wait to use the NXT, so I used it on the Escape. It has been a little rainy and damp, but after I washed the car, I pulled it into the garage to dry it off. After allowing all the crevices to drain, I began. It took about 25-35 minutes for the NXT to dry, but it wiped clean very well. It will sit in the garage until morning now. Utilizing a halogen light, there seemed to be a vast difference even in a new finish!

I just picked up a bottle of the liquid at LOWE'S (!?!) for $12.98! I am anxious to use it on our new Ford Escape, as well as our (older) Explorer (black). The previous owner of the Explorer NEVER waxed. So, Autozone is holding the last clay kit they have in stock for me to pick up tomorrow morning. I plan to wash, clay, polish and then use the NXT Tech 2 on it and see how much it helps. Of course, I am sure I will have to use some ScratchX as well. I will try to get some before/after pics of the Explorer and post when finished.

I used NXT 2.0 on our DD 99 Accord. The car has not had any work done to it at all besides touchless carwashes. I washed the car then clayed with Meg clay, used scratch X by hand, it did a great job, removed most scratches, then waxed with NXT 2.0. Car looks GREAT. That was saturday and 5 days later it is still silky smooth and if you run your finger over it gently you can pull up the dust and dirt (only did it in a small area when checkin the smoothness).

I've used NXT 2.0 on my '05 vette & my neighbor has used it on his '08, both cars are silver,we've noticed that it goes on easy and appears wetter than the previous formula, wipe off is greatly reduced also. Nice product.

I asked the same question in the other thread but I just applied Turtle Wax paste on my car last week...How soon do I have to wait before applying the NXT Tech Wax?

    Thanks.

Yes, it is so easy to remove. Apply thinly, and wipe off with a microfiber towel.

Besides the looks and smell, easy removal is one of the things I like most about NXT 2.0.

Of course, I see it everywhere ONCE I ordered it online at $17.

The very next day found it at Autozone, $15.99 WITH a free bottle of deep crystal car wash.

Then, saw it at walmart for $13 I believe.

Just can't win, haha. Oh well!
