I expected to see some sort of streak when I removed NXT because my car was black, but I didn't see anything at all, it was easy removal. Outside temperture was mid 60's when I worked.

    Thanks.

      Thanks.

      Sounds good to me.

NXT original would streak on me, but it usually went away after 24 hours or so.

I had slight streaking issues with the NXT 2.0. BUT, I have to say the following:

        1) the surface was NOT properly prepped/cleaned. It had a layer of freshly applied 82 under it (via PC), but was not clayed prior to the 82. The NXT 2.0 was applied by hand with a brand new foam applicator.

        2) it was used on a black hood from an older car. The hood was repainted and was not the original OEM paint. The paint job has a lot of flaws in it.

        3) I tried to wipe the part that was streaky with UQD, and it removed most of the streakiness, but there was still some left behind. Subsequently, it rained shortly thereafter and I was unable to check whether the rain removed the streakiness. I did not try wiping the surface with Last Touch since I did not have time.

All-in-all, I felt that the NXT 2.0 left behind a nice slick finish. Compared to 21 on a well kept surface that was also undercoated with a layer of 82, I feel that the 2.0 left behind a slicker feeling with less effort and on a lesser prepared surface. For the average consumer, and IMHO, NXT is a great product that requires minimal skill with maximum results. I can't wait to see how 21 2.0 compares to NXT 2.0.

I have a feeling that #21 2.0 and NXT 2.0 will be pretty much identical in performance. With the original versions of those two, #21 was a heck of a lot more durable than NXT, but I think with version 2.0 we'll probably find that the differences are now too close to call. That's definitely good because #21 has never been easy to find, while NXT has always been readily available everywhere.

I think most of my streaking issues (with NXT original) are due to the product taking too long to dry. I won't allow a wax product to sit much longer than 20 minutes or so because of dust accumulation.

Maybe I'm being a bit too picky, but I don't want to grind dust into a freshly prepared surface by waiting too long for the wax to dry.

I'm referring to machine applied methods here. I have no such wait time with hand applications.

I am getting some slight streaking issues too, but like max image, the surface wasnt completely prepped. I also think the 40 degree temperature isnt helping either. But otherwise it looks awesome!

you know we had rain storms last week thru Sunday in So Cal, so I had to clean up my car on Saturday between storms. I re-applied NTX Tech Wax 2 over hood and spoiler, again no streaking. I just used yellow applicator pad. and very thin coat.

I've been using NXT2.0 since I got a test sample back in September. Really nice product. Leaves a slick, wet finish and the slickness and beading hold up very well. Definitely my favorite synthetic sealant on black paint.

I just ordered some of the NXT2. I really like the original, I ordered form McQuires online I could not find it anywhere here.

What exactly is this light that you're using to inspect the finish?

I just did a review which included NXT V2 and to say the least, it is a fantastic product! You can see the review at 'The 9 wax showdown'.

Simply put, NXT V2 is without a doubt, not only one of the easiest waxes to use, but the best looking, with some of the best beading and sheeting I have ever seen. Absolutely zero streaking issues for me after just a ~15 min drying time and it was unbelievably effortless to remove. I plan to do a quick side by side of it and my other favorite, Eagle One Nanowax to see how they directly compare in sheeting!
