Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0
I wanted to add that I had come on the forum in the U.S., because in Italia does not respond to mail that I sent and there is no forum.

Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0
Ok, it's just what you wrote, but we must be careful who you advantage the situation.
Meguiars Products in Italy are practically unknown, and those few who know it do not always buy. This is because the prices are dear in comparison to products certainly not as good but they are easily in the supermarket at the same prices of Meguiars products in USA.
In Rome there are only 2 stores that have products meguiars, and little things are expensive. 1 site online, we only ever dear. Ok transport costs and taxes but from € 12 (~ $ 17) to € 39 (€ 53) is increased by about 230%!
The point is that if you are interested in expanding your market in italy / europe, IMHO you should choose the best partners that are aggressive pricing policies in order to sell a lot ..
You charged in U.S. prices right, because you do not impute to the fault of the prices in Italy, I ask you if possible for greater control, first of all for you to sell more (I think this will interest a lot right).
Thank you

Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0
This will not change pricing but please read the following as it may help you understand why products are priced differently around the world.
~~~~~~~~~~~
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>
Meguiar's International Pricing Statement
The Meguiar’s brand was founded on developing and providing surface care products that demonstrably exceed the performance expectations of enthusiasts. As Meguiar’s has expanded globally, questions about differences in prices from one country to another occasionally are raised.
Cross-border price differences are not unique to the Meguiar’s brand, or surface care products, but are experienced in virtually every product category. From wax to running shoes to fast food hamburgers, wide ranges of pricing for similar products are the global norm. These price differences are a direct consequence of vastly different cost structures. When the costs of transport, import duties, local VAT, labeling for local language and health and safety requirements are all added in, the cost difference can be substantial. And although it is true that international taxes can sometimes be evaded for purchases made online, this is a practice that is not legal and certainly a practice that Meguiar’s could never condone.
In addition to the additional logistical and governmental costs noted, Meguiar’s has also established a local subsidiary or distribution partner for most countries around the world. This local organization provides tremendous value in organizing in-country distribution, conducting detailing seminars, providing customer service and answering technical queries from enthusiasts every day, establishing advertising and communication programs, and many, many other key services in building the business. Each of these local partners has a real passion for the car hobby, and also has a real cost of these services, and yes, they also need to make a profit. Without their efforts and local investment, Meguiar’s products would still be largely unavailable to the majority of global car enthusiasts.
Rather than comparing pricing from one country to another, we believe a much more relevant and fairer comparison is to make a local price comparison with products of comparable quality and performance. We and our partners strive to price our products competitive, and are committed to provide products that exceed the enthusiast’s performance expectations.
We do sincerely thank you for your passion in bringing your concern to our attention. We also hope that our explanation helps you in understanding some of the complexity of the global marketplace and the many factors that go into determining the price of Meguiar’s products in your country.
Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0
I am very angry! In Italy, waxes costing € 39 = $ 53! You can not pay $ 53 something that costs $ 17!
Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0
I tried this wax and didnt have much luck with it. I dont know if it was the weather/humidity or what happened. It was a friend of my brothers car who I detailed and he called back like 3 days later and said the car had a nasty film and swirls. I checked it out and re did the car using a 3m hand glaze (sorry but I like the 3m glaze alot) followed by meguiars gold class and the car still looks great to this day. Im sure its a great product, but I didnt seem to get the great results like others have. I did use the paste form not the liquid not that it should of made a difference
Sorry I missed this? What did you ever do?
Meguiar's recommends using products from the matching product line for the items you're working on, so in this case the recommendation would be to use the Flagship Premium Marine Wax.
Sometimes it can be helpful to start a new thread to ask a question just because sometimes when a thread gets real long over time a post can kind of get lost.
By staying inside a single product line there is Synergistic Chemical Compatibility. (SCC)
There's a lot of confusion over the word layering on the Internet and just to note, no one has ever proven you can increase the thickness of a layer of wax or a paint sealant by adding more and more layers. No one.
Not one person on all the different forums that talks about how many layers of ANY product they've applied has ever proven they have with each application increased the thickness of the layer of the product they're applying. It's all just talk.
No one has ever shared a method of creating a thicker layer that ANYONE can duplicate with products they can buy and apply in their garage. So until someone can prove in a repeatable and testable method how to create a thicker and thicker layer of protection on the surface of paint, don't buy into the hype and marketing.
The silence on this topic is deafening...
Do Glazes/Fillers affect the bonding of NXT?
A question on wax bonding and the potential for interference by a quick detailer?
Which products need to dry before removing?
Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0
Just to be clear, ColorX is a cleaner/wax, so you would let it dry before removing it, and it will leave a coat of wax behind.
So it is not just a cleaner/polish leaving only oils behind.
Then the coat of Nxt 2.0 will give your second recomended coat of wax.
