It is amazing how 95% of the population treats their cars.

He mods the car, but doesn't even bother to keep the paint up!

One more bump for #80. To me, it's the best polish for single stage paint.

LoL ....thats what I always say, people spend thousands adding mods and less than 1% would even notice or turn their heads to look at the car a second time, but a properly detailed mirror finished car will get 75% of people's attention and compliments for dime and a song !

The customer is about to sell this vehicle so he wanted it extremely clean. He has over 10k in mods to it. 329HP to the wheels on pump gas; 389WHP on 104 octane! This was the first time I got a tip before I even started on a vehicle.

    Here's what it got:
    (Actually took some before shots!)

    NXT Tech Wash
(Clayed while during the wash cycle)

    Meguiar's #80
    (EDGE2K Yellow Pad at #6)
Had to clean this thing out 6 times! And it's double sided!

    XMT Machine Glaze
(EDGE2K Orange Pad at #4 setting)

    Souveran Liquid Wax-2 coats
(EDGE2K White Pad at #3 setting)

i was curious... you mention using a yellow, orange, and white pad. but in this pic, the pad is green?

Nice what did you use to clean the pad out in the middle of the job?

Quick question, when the pad absorbs (or removes) that much paint, is the pad no longer usable? My question is what steps did you take to remove the paint from the pad. Thanks!

Once again Justin, you are the man. That Evo was REALLY neglected. You brought it back to showroom condition. NICE work.
