Re: Ryan L's testing of 21-13B, 21-09B and 21-21A
21-09B
We were told that 21-09B is a heavier paint cleaner and is to be used by hand, orbital or DA.
I moved one panel down on my moms car and repeated my swirling process to give this product a good testing situation as well.
Panel before

Panel after swirling

Panel masked off and what I will be testing.

Product I will be using.

First section was with a Hi-Tech applicator pad by hand. Worked the product in several different directions and did 2 applications. I noticed a significant difference in gloss between the two applications as well as defect removal. I still noticed some RIDS with both of the hand applications, but remember I only did 2 applications.

Product in action.

1st application. You can see here, most of the swirling and hazing is gone and some RIDS are still present.

2nd application. I was amazed with the added gloss between the 2 applications here.

By hand with the Hi-Tech applicator was great with this product, easy applicator and easy removal, very impressed with the gloss, but it didn't seem to provide as much gloss as 21-13B. There were still some RIDS present but for only doing 2 applications, I was very impressed.
Up next was working with 21-09B by hand with a terry cloth. Again, same process with 21-13B, I cut up a Soft Buff Terry Towel into squares. I worked the product in for about a minute and did 2 applications.

After 1st application.

After 2nd application.

Working between the Hi-Tech applicator pad and the terry cloth squares with this product, I didn't see a huge difference, which could be user error or just the diminishing abrasives in the product. I will try to do some more testing to see if I can narrow it down.
Up next was the G110 with a W-8006 at speed 5. WOW, does this product have a work time or what!! I was very impressed with that fact that this product could remove defects and at the same time be workable for a long time. If you feel heavy compounds such as M105, you will feel a more cream feeling while with 21-09B, you feel a more liquid feeling.

After just 1 pass...I didn't need to do another one!!

Here is 21-09B with the old G100 and a W8006 at speed 5.

Again, just one pass, perfection!

My overall thoughts with this product stand about equal with my thoughts on 21-13B, AMAZING. Both products are very easy to apply and remove. Both have amazing work time and they provide gloss while removing defects.
Thank you everybody for being patient while I got the results up and thank you Mike Pennington and Meguiar's for letting me test products once again!
If you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them, but I can't tell you everything.
