I got the case of 36 for only $69.95...so I guess I could have save another $7. O-well, Rick has been very good to me and I already thought the price was great.

I'm sorry but the Supreme Shines still ****.

When I wash mine, they do not plump up.

They have such a thin pile now that you scratch up your paint so much more.

      This is driving me mad.

Please fix it. I'm running out of good ones and don't know what to do.

      Thanks.

To add to the mix of QC on the SS towels from Megs, I just purchased a three pack and after one use they started linting pretty bad. So I figure I'd just wash them in cold water and do an air fluff to see if it would fix it. No luck. Evertime I wipe down my car after with QD or after a compounding it's linting so bad I can't tell if there are still swirl marks on my car. They're not little fluffs of lint either, when they're new. They're like individual strands all stuck to my paint. I just called customer service and I'm hoping they get it taken care of...has anyone else experience this linting problem?

Yes, I have this problem. I have over 100 Supreme Shines, purchased within a few weeks of each other, all from different sources, though. Occasionally, they will lint really bad; and with the way I wash them, they lint independent of the load of wash they were in. By that I mean some lint, some don't out of 1 particular load. I know exactly what you're saying about how they are individual strands that are stuck to the paint. It's most annoying during final polishing/buffing steps. My technique is to do a final pass where all swipes push towards one central location. I'll continue to use them since I always have and they'll be great for other detailing applications, but I've got my eyes peeled for a different type of MF.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. As someone new to the hobby I wasn't sure if it was something I was doing or if it was the product itself.

Common sense kind of told me that it had something to do with the way I was washing them. I researched it; and found that I was following the MF rules. Maybe my paint is so pretty the little MF ends just want to stay there instead of on the towel? I didn't read back to the original post of this thread when I posted my reply. I thought it was the post about the SS coming out of square; I problem that I experienced as well, but it doesn't really bother me that much since I'm capable of making a square or a rectangle or a triangle or whatever shape I feel like using. I think I will start setting aside the towels that shed lint versus those that don't. Perhaps I can draw some more consistencies.

In my previous dealing with Meguiars I was told that they do not experience this sort of thing when they conduct their classes and open garage events. I guess it's becoming more and more of a problem and don't take this the wrong way, I'm glad to see others with the linting issue...maybe something will be done about this quality issue.

Re: Please look into decline in Supreme Shine Micro fiber Quality

Hmm just realize when I read this forum and I check my first 5 Supreme Shine Microfibers (1 bonus from Quik Kit, 1 from clay kit, 3 from 3 pack) that I bought 2 years ago and found out that 1 of them is not squared and I used it for Last Touch all this time, and it always rolled when I used it, while it did not happen with my other 4 when I used them for wax buff, or buff the paint cleaners..

I just bought another 2 new Supreme Shine Microfibers this month and they are squared but, they are thinner than my other 5 Supreme Shines Microfibers and they got rolled when I used them..

Quite strange that I tried to wash it then, but it didn't get any better when I compared my new and old one in one usage for Last Touch, and the new one got rolled again.. I used the same technique for wiping my LT with both Microfibers and it happens on the whole car..

I am just thinking, is there any Quality Control issue with the new Supreme Shine Microfiber?

So I got my replacement towels from Meguiars and I must say that Meguiars has some of the absolute best customer service in the industry. They took care of me with my multiple issues without any hassle. They have definitely earned a loyal customer for life. I am so impressed, I'm writing a letter to the head of Meguiars to tell them how wonderful they have been. HOWEVER, their replacement towels still linted similar to the ones that were warrantied out. With that said, I would not hesitate to buy anything that Meguiars produces (except for their MF towels).

I have recently been experiencing this linting problem with my Supreme Shines. I wash them the same that I always do but recently they have been linting all over the car when I QD. Just figured I'd share my experience. I still love Meguiars but the linting is a little annoying.

Yes. I know. I still love the Supreme Shines and will continue to use them because they still are the best towel I have used. I am just commenting on the fact that a few of them have started to lint.

A Question, I did UQD to my car, and is it true that applying UQD is not smooth? I mean: 1 I sprayed UQD on a panel, 2 I spread the product , 3 I turn the towel and dry the product. In the step 2, It is kinda hard to spread the product but in the step 3 it is very smooth like my towel is floating..

Is it my supreme shine towel problem? Cause I used the same MF for LT 2:1 my car and I didn't had this problem, or was it because of the condition that it was at night and the temperature was cool?

Re: Please look into decline in Supreme Shine Micro fiber Quality

I followed up again on the day after.. I sprayed UQD with the same Microfiber in the morning.. Well it was very smooth process from spraying - spreading and final wipe..

Well I guess there is no problem with with Supreme Shine MF.. no linting.. so smooth.. I guess it is the matter of the surface, in the morning I have sprayed UQD on the night before.. I think there was not enough wax anymore.. I need to re-wax it ...

Oh one more thing, I used to spread and do the final wipe of UQD on a straight pattern or S pattern.. and it usually got dust sticking all over the surface.. This is the first time I spread the product and did the final wipe with a circular motion (just as seen on the demo video) and the result is after days of 200km of driving.. It still shines with low dust (regular road dust)

                                Thanks Meguiar's
