There's nothing wrong with Gold Class, Mirror Glaze #26, NXT, ect.

You don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get great results.

    Just saying...

        Re: G110v2 vs GG6 vs PC 7424XP

Got a surprise yesterday, the wifey brought home a box which contained the G110v2. I got to play with it a little at 1am (I had to go watch SITC 2 with the wife). I noticed two things:

        1. I handle tends to move, the combination of the soft coating and the notches not being prominent does not secure the handle unless I over tighten the bolts. Which caused wear on the notches.

        2. Due to the vibration the Brush Cover starts to come loose by itself even after I tightened it prior to turning the G110v2 on.

Also the Blue 7" MF Bonnet Covers from ADS are loose and starts flying off when I put it over the 7" Soft Buff 2.0 Burgundy. My $25 6" Ryobi ROB with a Carrand 5-6" MF Bonnets were sung and would not fly off the pad. Rick at ADS told me I have to keep the pad on the surface and apply enough pressure. Is this normal? Will the Bonnet shrink after washing?

The bonnets shouldn't be flying off. What speed did you set the DA?

            SPEED ONE (1)

Rick at ADS told me I have to keep the pad on the surface and apply enough pressure and if I have problems with the DA call Meg.

Kind of disappointed with ADS after sales support, the reason the wife ordered it from ADS was because the lowest price and she didn't want to deal with price matching it with AG. Sorry AG, I wish she would have ordered it from AG.

              Rick told you the truth.

If you hold the machine up in the air and turn it on, the bonnet/pad WILL fly off.

Yes, you can apply it with a finishing pad and a thin layer is all that's needed. You could remove the NXT 2.0 with the G110v2 and microfiber bonnet, but I personally don't feel it's necessary as it will be a breeze to remove by hand when you apply it thin.

I have the use the G110v2, its the main reason I bought the DA is to apply and remove wax.

Also whats the difference between NXT 2.0 and M21?

Whats the difference of using a Quick Detailer vs Water or Windex to remove stuff from your car in between washings? It just seems like another thing to buy.

Well, I would suggest starting a new thread. But since this is your own thread...............

You definitly do not want to wipe your car down with glass cleaner or plain water.

It surely is not just another thing to purchase.

Anyone who details should always have some sort of spray detailer on hand.

I'm surprised nobody replied to that post earlier lol

Wow Homer, I hope you haven't been using plain water or Windex to wipe down your car! *Cringe*

How's your new DA going anyway?

The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
