Re: TO flex or not to flex that is the question
UPDATE:
I used my FLEX for the second time today on a 10-hour full paint correction on a 2003 Silver/Green Jaguar XJ.
The car had severe water spotting and swirls, and had zero wax. Car had never had paint correction done before.
Started with a foam gun wash, and then a Meg's mild blue clay with Last Touch 1:1 lubricant.
Then I started with the FLEX using #83 and the Lake Country Yellow pad, and #80 with the Lake Country Orange pad I was able to remove 99% of the scratches and swirls. Only the REALLY deep stuff remained. The customer was floored at what I got out of the paint, he was hoping to minimize or hide it at best...I made it go "poof!" Both on speed 5.
I then followed up with a Lake Country blue pad and some Meg's #21 at 1.5 speed.
As the customer said, and I agreed, "Damn, I should sell this car now...it looks better than the day I got it from the showroom."
Sadly, no pics...my sister went out of town and took the DSLR camera- sorry guys.
Bottom line: Being both a Meg's G100 and a FLEX owner, I would recommend the FLEX.
