So, I think this is a non-issue.
    those are both waxes
i think they both seal the paint

Yes, they are waxes (well, UWWA contains some carnauba, but isn't really best used as an LSP wax), but no, they do not "seal". This is because they easily wash or wear off fairly quickly, which isn't much of a seal, in my book They offer basic protection and gloss, but will not last very long in the real world of weather and driving. For new paint on a garaged car that doesn't get driven, though, using them might be a problem, but they wouldn't be necessary in the first place for a garaged show car. Either way, they simply do not seal in any literal sense of the word out in the elements. UWWA is said to be based on the same "technology" as the other so-called "sealants", and yet, Gold Class quik wax easily outlasts UWWA in my experience. Even then, we're talking days.

Still, the point is it's better to err on the side of caution with new paint, and the new clear coat is plenty of protection in the short-term, as long as it's clean. A touch of UWWA to keep it clean after getting dirty on the road, or using a shampoo with carnauba in it like UWW, is safe for out-gassing, or better yet using Gold Class shampoo if you're paranoid. Applying, say ULW/M2x with a DA, is not going to be safe for new paint, though, no. It also depends on what paint the shop used. Some say 6 months without waxing, others say only a week or two. Ask them.

For what it is worth, on my freshly painted car here is my wash/protection regiment until the paint finishes outgassing:

        Wash: Hyperwash or D114
        Detail Spray: M34
        Protection: M305

All of these products will allow for proper out gassing of the paint.

After about 90 days you can start using normal detailing products again.
