Sounds good. The Pilot needs a good clay so will be doing that then will do a cleaner wax or polish then nxt. Also will be doing an engine cleaning. Going to start looking at threads about steam cleaners. Looking at on at Harbor Freight. Nothing too fancy, just for the average detailer at home.

Which Megs line to choose?

Do you have cloth or leather seats? If you have leather, I'd recommend the Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner. Going over all parts after a good vacuum will prevent premature aging of your seats and keep them looking new.
Also, invest in a sunshade for your windshield and use it everytime you park outside in the sun. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, heck I get my sunshade from the 99. store and it blocks the sun + keeps my car cooler just like the $30 version they sell at K Mart.

Re: Which Megs line to choose?
Eldorado, always a great suggestion! I got the silver reflective kind at Advance Auto, and I think they were about $15-20 each. I use a medium-sized one for the back glass when necessary, as well as a larger one for the front, of course. Makes a HUGE difference with any car, but especially with black on black in the South. I also can chime in on the GC Leather Conditioner, one of my "go to" bottles
As for white, exploreco, I would fuss over it just like black. The difference will be stunning. White can look chalky and flat, but with the proper care you'll see white can be deep and wet. Say, if your white is a pearl metallic, or if your interior is tan, I'd suggest Gold Class/Yellow Wax (not surprisingly), but in this case I might alternatively use Ultimate/NXT. Again, I think of the choice here as one between a classic show car golden "cast" and a silver metallic cast, but it's still a subtle difference. Don't get me started on the myth about longevity - choose the wax "look" you want per vehicle, and match your quik products for that vehicle to that choice.Non-Garaged Daily Driver, DAMF System + M101, Carnauba Finish Enthusiast

Thanks for the advice for the sun shades. I do use them but need a bigger one for the new car. And I have the sundries tinted so that helps too.
Going to use up my bottle of NXT then will pick up a bottle of GC later in the summer just for the fun of it. I don't mind experimenting a bit too find what I like. I live in the midwest so or climate probaly isn't as harsh as some like yours. The sun is probaly the worst.
After joining this forum it has re sparked my interest in cleaning except now I am doing right Thanks to all of you.2017 Lexus RX 350 - Satin Cashmere Metallic

If ur interested in cooling the inside of ur car sunshade is great. But another great option would b to put a clear film on the windshield. Just like tinting ur back windows but this is completely clear but with all the uc protection. Also use a sunshade but make sure u get a custom fit to where ur able to put the shade flat against the glass as u want to keep the heat reflecting out . Having a 1 inch gap at any point between the windshield and shade gives enuf room to build heat and defeats the purpose. Do sum research as I had and u will b surprised that u can't just buy a cheapo from autozone and get great protection.
My suggestion is to tint all windows including the windshield with the clear of course, and get u a custom fit sun shade and u will drop that temp inside the car by at least 10-15'. Maybe even more.
Also another great way to cool the car is to add sound insulation. My recommendation is secondskinaudio.com. Not only will it give U a luxury quiet ride but cool the car down as well. That combined with the window film and ur looking at 20-35 degree change from inside and outside temps. Just has to b installed properly. And I stress correct installation.

I'm biased towards the leather sealer system myself if you have leather.

@ffboy & Top Gear. Thank you sirs for the kind words
And Guz, to hear you say that about the Megs Leather Sealer Treatment puts the seal of approval on it as far as I'm concerned.. I just can't see myself touching it up with QID instead of Gold Class. I'm hooked on the Gold Class down to the scent.

Re: Which Megs line to choose?
The only thing I do is use QID to remove light dust on the sealed leather. I reapply the sealer every 3 months. That's one of the benefits I like about it. Either way you can't go wrong. What's important is that you are protecting the leather and keeping it looking good.
