This is an excellent point. While the OP has had excellent results in the past using the microfiber applicator, he has never used it on this particular car (nobody has ever used anything on this particular car, by the sounds of it - well, other than whatever they do at the factory) so it is quite possible that the paint on this car is much more scratch sensitive than his previous cars.
But none of that explains the NXT being difficult to remove. There is absolutely no reason at all why NXT should be hard to remove simply because a microfiber applicator was used to apply it. A thin coat is a thin coat, no matter how you get it down on the paint, and a thin coat should wipe off with virtually no effort.
