I just received my brand new car and prepped it for its first wax/polish. I've used many different waxes and polishes, such as Zaino and Blackfire over the past years but since I didn't want to order anything I went to the local store and picked up NXT 2.0 after reading some positive reviews.
I prepped the car as usual: rinse, dawn (2 bucket method), claybar, wash again, dry. Microfiber towels were used for washing and drying. At this point the car looked great.
I then used a microfiber pad to start the NXT application. On the very first application I knew something didn't feel right. I have waxed cars for years with different products but NXT was just impossible. It did not want to glide onto the paint like other products, such as Zaino or Blackfire. I tried using it even more sparingly, no difference. Tried using more of it, no difference.
After taking the twice as long as normal, I had finally completed waxing the entire car. When it came to removing the haze, it was ridiculously hard.
The wax/polish was very hard to remove and was very gritty. Even today, the next day, there are wax spots that won't come off unless I rub them with my finger.
The biggest problem are all the light scratches NXT 2.0 caused on the clear coat. I have never had anything even close to this problem on any other car I have waxed with any other product. To me, this is completely unacceptable.
After my first and only use of NXT, I threw away the bottle because of the application and damage caused to my brand new car. I just wanted to post this and hear what the community had to say about this experience.
