Re: water magnet wash b4 use?

This is how you do it.

    1. Place items in washer
    2. Add detergent
    3. Turn machine on

Washing machines follow this order - they wash, the water drains, it refills with water (this is the rinse cycle), it agitates, it drains, it spins.

    4. During the rinse cycle (after it drains the soapy water and fills with clean water), add the 1/2 to 1 cup of distilled white vinegar. Just pour it in. Don't worry about putting in anywhere special.

Vinegar has long been used as a natural fabric softener. It helps strip the residue build up of soap, oil, etc. This is what gives fabrics their soft feel. It also allows the Water Magnet to absorb water. Overtime, buildup on the fibers of the Water Magnet prevents it from absorbing water. It will actually just smear the water around the car. We use vinegar because it rinses clean and doesn't leave anything behind on the fibers. Your items won't smell like vinegar when you are done, unless you use too much. Even then, they won't smell like you're sniffing the vinegar bottle. It will be faint, but it won't affect anything.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
