Re: water magnet wash b4 use?
This is how you do it.
1. Place items in washer
2. Add detergent
3. Turn machine on
Washing machines follow this order - they wash, the water drains, it refills with water (this is the rinse cycle), it agitates, it drains, it spins.
4. During the rinse cycle (after it drains the soapy water and fills with clean water), add the 1/2 to 1 cup of distilled white vinegar. Just pour it in. Don't worry about putting in anywhere special.
Vinegar has long been used as a natural fabric softener. It helps strip the residue build up of soap, oil, etc. This is what gives fabrics their soft feel. It also allows the Water Magnet to absorb water. Overtime, buildup on the fibers of the Water Magnet prevents it from absorbing water. It will actually just smear the water around the car. We use vinegar because it rinses clean and doesn't leave anything behind on the fibers. Your items won't smell like vinegar when you are done, unless you use too much. Even then, they won't smell like you're sniffing the vinegar bottle. It will be faint, but it won't affect anything.

Put the vinegar in the final rinse. If the washing machine has a fabric softener dispenser that would dump fabric softener into the rinse cycle you can use that for the vinegar - it will only dispense what's put into it. Of course, if there as any fabric softener left behind from a previous use that might be an issue. Personally, when I do use vinegar I just pour it in during the final rinse.

(do i add soap again) becuase my Mom doesnt want me washing 4-5 things. so often.

Re: water magnet wash b4 use?
It is a good idea to wash your microfibers, whether Water Magnets, Supreme Shines, etc prior to first use. All they really need is a quick, light wash and dry for that first go.
Subsequently, you should wash and dry all microfiber towels and applicators after every use. This includes Water Magnets and wash mitts as well. Warm wash, cold rinse, liquid detergent (amount as recommended by detergent manufacturer and/or washing machine maker) then a low heat tumble dry. Low enough heat that if you have to run them through twice, so be it.
From time to time a half cup to a full cup of distilled white vinegar in the rinse cycle can do wonders for that final breakdown of anything left in the material of the towels.

Depending on the size of the load. I use anywhere from a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of vinegar. After the wash cycle is complete. Run the rinse cycle a second time. This rejuvenates the microfibers. The towels work great after this trick.

Next I inspect each towel before I put it in the machine. A dirty spot gets a shot of liquid oxy-clean spray.
Our high efficiency washer has a place for liquid soap, following soap manufacturers instructions I use the appropriate amount of soap. Then I fill the rinse aid receptacle with vinegar. Set the controls to warm wash, cold rinse and single spin. Water level based on quantity of towels.
When done throw in dryer on medium heat, fold neatly when done. I store them in cloth grocery bags with cheap terry cloth towels on top for dust protection.
Other experts may have better procedures.
