I got a lot, but they didn't have ColorX as well as a few other things..which leads to my question..
After all the suggestions I got, I planned to go with ColorX followed by NXT 2.0...but now I'm thinking maybe I can avoid that. The clay kit came with a sample of cleaner wax..is that similar to colorx? Could I use that sample followed by NXT 2.0 or is that a bad idea and I should go for ColorX?
The regular cleaner/wax is a milder cleaner. It will work fine, just have to be sure you have enough of it... I would think there is enough for one coat on a car from that size bottle.
It's 4oz..I have no sense of how far that will go though, having never done any of this.
I think I'll hold off on the ColorX and chrome polisher..that's all walmart didn't have. I think this is enough to start with. Now I just need to buy all my microfibers and stuff

1 or 2 coats of NXT 2.0?
I'll be doing my first detail attempt soon...
I have quite the dilemma.
My car sits outside..under trees
I bought a cheapo cover for it..it was doing the job
then it rained
the covered had been on since it had arrived, right after simply washing the car..
after the rain I go outside and take it off..and apparently it's more of a mud-conjurer than cover..the car was pathetically covered in dirt everywhere..
I don't know what I should do..it seems like with rain, and the cover, my car will always be covered in nasty stuff..
should I not use the cover when it's wet? I can't imagine it looking worse without having had the cover..there'd just be some leaves on it..but I don't think I'd be embarassed to drive it..
I don't even know what to do...?
I'm considering laying down a lot more money for an actual good quality cover instead of this pathetic cheap one...any worthy recommendations?
Something that will really actually keep stuff out
