M27 and Ultimate Polish produce tiny flakes
I can’t buff them off until I wait a day. The flakes are white and seem to reflect bright light. Am I doing something wrong?

I used it by hand, a sponge applicator like applying wax, just worked it in. I used hybtid ceramic liquid wax on top. It seemed to hold up nicely. Now I did read on here M27 should be applied to bare, clean paint for best outcome with that product. But M27 applies so easy I don't think it would hurt...Leave a comment:

My other issue is those recessed channels, I'll need to be really careful around those that I don't burn thru on an edge. Might have to do those by hand.Leave a comment:

Well that's just it, although it's fiberglass, it's painted. So I won't really be applying anything to fiberglass or gel coat but to paint, the only difference is I suspect it's an epoxy marine paint. I'm thinking to just try what I use all the time, the Ultimate Compound followed by the Ultimate Wax....Leave a comment:

Can this scratch be fixed, or helped at all?
Hey all
I bought my truck second-hand, and it came with a scratch that I didn't notice when I bought it. A body shop stated that the entire panel would need to be repainted. You might not need to go all the way to a full repaint, depending on the depth of the scratch. If it is in fact to the base paint, but not through the clear coat, you should be able to use a cutting compound and dual action polisher to buff out the scratch. Well here it is a year and a half later and I didn't realize I had all these replies till today! I ended up with the Ryobi and so far it has been working great. It's only 1.2 GPM but that hasn't been a problem. I bought a shorty wand and a more flexible hose. Thanks for all the suggestions.
