first thing is check the codes, based on what codes are pulled up that will give you an idea of which direction to go in your trouble shooting.

        most common causes are
        • plugs (incorrect gap, crack in plug)
wires (small hairline cracks in wire and/or plug boot)
coil - especially if the same coil is affecting the same cylinders

          least common:

          vacuum leak
          fuel injector
          intake manifold gasket
          ignition module

good luck.. let us know hoe u make out

Yep. Most cars have a coilpak.

Think I got it!! Plug wires were touching each other, re ran them and car is fine. Who knew?? They were new wires. Now only if that hood was that easy.

Thanks to all will let you know in this does not work.

Sometimes if you suspect a wire problem like that it's good to look at the engine running in a dark garage. You will see arcing like that (sometimes it will leave something like carbon tracking on the wires also). I had a car once that the wire insulation had become "porous" and when I did the dark test the engine compartment lit up like Tokyo at night with little discharges all over.
