Yes, I shred all personal papers. Usually they don't look through it, but occasionally they send people out to look in trash to see if they can fine anyone.

However, for the most part they don't bother checking.

The city forces you to recycle plastic products? That's insain, I'd throw away all kinds of plastic items just in spite.

Whenever Pennsylvania (or a county within the state) declares a drought (sp), it is illegal to use water for anything other neccessities. That means no filling pools, no lawn sprinklers, no car washing. The commercial car washes, however, are allowed to remain open since their water is recycled.

Might be worth digging a well just for the purpose of having water to wash a car with.

Yes, we have to recycle and I honestly don't have a problem with it. It is quite easy to put things in the recycling container, but only #1, #2, and #3 plastic, aluminum, glasds, and steal. Also newspaper and cardboard.

I have no problem with it becaue it is easy, but to come after me because a #3 container accidentally ended up in the trash is crazey. Sometimes finding those numbers is difficult to do, so when in doubt I just toss it in recycle.

I figure if a #4 or #5 ends up in there they can catch it or not. IT won't be my problem.

                    Hey Sneek
I get some of my Meguiars stuff from Part Source, they are all over town. I live in the south so I go to the part source just north of Heritage Drive on Macleod Trail they have some pro line products.

Also Canadian Tire, They mainly have the consumer line of products you can get however the #7 show car glaze and #26 High tech yellow wax there. I have seen some medium cut cleaners #1 and swirl removers #9 there as well, and most of the NXT products and Gold class line.

I also went online and picked up alot of the cleaning brushes and wash mits and towels and the #21 Synthetic Sealant this stuff is GREAT.With todays exchange rate and our Canadian $ doing so well you can save your money buy doing this. I go online when I can't get the Products here.

Check out the new Canadian Tire flyer this week starts Sept. 29. They have the Porter Cable 6" and 7" Polishers on sale $80.00 and $40.00 off {$159.99 cnd for the 6" thats a great price}.

It.s good to here from a Calgarian that takes pride in the look of their car. Not to many people take the time to do it right. I hope this helped.

                    GOOD LUCK Pete

                        Big Pete,

I don't blame you for taking your own equipment to those horrible car wash stalls. I did the same thing when I had my car with me down state at school. I have a friend with an 02 Z24 Cavalier that was a nice vivid red but because he uses those brushes at the car wash all the time his car looks nearly pink because of all the swirls he has.

hahaha thats wen u get ur car repainted

im always so tempted to wash my car in my drive way i have the meguiars wash sitting on my self cause it hasn't been opened yet

BTW big pete do you have any meguiars Extra i want to try cleaning my engine like in those meguiars videos i looked at canadian tire but all i could find was something called simple green and also you can go buy this spray wash stuff from eagle1 (i would use meguiars but no buckets allowed) all you do is spray it on you car then use a wash mit. then power wash your car. then pull up to the parking out side of the wash and polish and wax your car with the G104 or the Simoniz cordless polisher.

or you can take you car to ZR Auto and get you car detailed by someone else but its just not the same as doing it youself

sry i probly have poor grammar and spelling but im in a hurry

                            Sneek
ya I have a couple bottles of the Meguiars extra to clean wheel wells and engine compartments. They have alot of the Meguiars extra product at part source , Canadian Tire doesn'y carry the Meguiars extra.
Also don'y worry about going down to your local car wash with your Meguiars soap and wash buckets. I.ve done it for years and nobody has said a thing to me, except they can't believe I wash my car that way. I explain to them about the proper way to look after their cars finish and how bad those wash brooms are, they usually thank me for the advice. They I pull the car out of the stall, Dry, Polish then Wax. Sometimes I'll clean and clay. I usually do everything at the car wash 2-4 hours Saturday morning.

If you can't find any Meguiars Extra and really need to get your hands on some I can give you some of mine.
                            Cheers Peter
