                • Daily Driver: Toyota Prius, Black, purchased April 2005. Best tank: 52 mpg. Worst tank: 44 mpg. $21,000. Change oil every 5,000 miles or six months. Mods: BT stiffening plate and back up beeper in left rear taillight.

                  My routine:
Wash with NXT due to local hard water.

When needed, clay the car using NXT detailer.

Use Scratch-X if needed. Clean with NXT detailer again.

Apply Deep Crystal Polish with W8006 Yellow soft buff foam polishing pad at speeds 3-5. Small sections.

Remove while still wet with microfiber towel. Small sections.

-Apply NXT tech Wax using either another W8006 softbuff finishing pad at speeds 2-4. Do entire car and let dry.

Remove with W7006 cutting pad and microfiber bonnet at speeds 2.5.

Then do windows with NXT and glass towels. Then do interior

I'm not obsessive or a perfectionist. But my car looks better than anyone else's in my family. My nephew is a close second. I taught him everything Mike taught me and I'm giving him my Gold Class as I move to NXT and other extra products. But *I* have a DA polisher and he doesn't........yet.

At some point I'll pull the car out of the garage and take a picture when it's NOT raining.
                  It's not just chocolate, it's a lifestyle.

A fine head-turning machine. He now understands that to keep your ride looking pristine and to get those thumbs up you must pamper your ride using Meguiar's products exclusively.

                        • this is what takes me where i want to go.

its a 2005 lancer evolution VIII

what the outside looks like isnt really that important, its what makes it go.

so in stock form (5.0 to 60 mph, and 12.2 in the 1/4) wasnt really fast enough so i upgraded the turbo and added a boost controller. it has north of 300 hp to the wheels, and above 4k rpm hauls. also it ***** gas like its going out of style, WOT it'll maybe get 3 mpg

its a full GT2835 turbo upgrade from HKS

i can put up more if you'd like. hopefully we'll get 30 of these monsters to take over meguiars next saturday (and learn something about detailing)
