So whats the deal on this Joe? did ya get it? huh? Did ya get it Joe?
Hehe, When I was a teen my next door neighbor had a thing for the '64 Galaxy 500s. He had several and would buyevery one he could find for parts. We would tear them down to the frame and totally rework them up to show quality. He had a thing for the 351 Windsors w/a 4 barrel carb.
DO IT. That thing looks really solid as far as the body and such, which is becomming more and more difficult to find in "as original" shape. If it were me doing the build-up on it, I'd definitely want factory sheetmetal over something bondoed or half ordered from the Year One catalog.
Big question is -- how is the car mechanically? Running ok?
Here is an update. It sold for $2500 a few days later.
Looking at the pics of my back yard I see that the Honda had been replaced with a Toyota Sequoia. The Plymouth is gone to. I have a 2004 GMC Sierra now.
These older cars are going to go up in value because there are going to be fewer every year. That old ford looks awesome. It has black plates which makes it have more value.
Check craigslist out. Have a good bunch of cars like that old ford.
