Late last year, we bought a 2013 Sierra. Since the end of last winter, I think I have washed and cleaned the truck a minimum of 3-4 days a week lol. It is to the point now that when I am outside cleaning, my neighbours laugh and joke with me about it. I tell them I do it because I am addicted to the wonderful smell of Megiuars lol. How often do you clean your vehicle?

I haven't tried the UQW yet. Is it much different than UQD?

I don't know if I could try that stuff althought I did hear it is great for doing in the door jams where it is tough to get in there and wipe.

I'm sure I can feel neighbors, who don't care about their cars, laughing every time I pull out water hose and leaf blower or do a wipe down, etc. There are worse addictions in life, and nothing wrong with keeping up a car. Rock on

Once you try a rinseless wash, your neighbors will change. They'll be in your driveway asking for the secret of how you keep your car so clean with so little time and effort. I don't do any off roading or drive on muddy, unpaved roads, so I only bring the hose or pressure washer out for my initial spring cleaning.

I have a gallon bucket with a gamma seal on it with a couple gallons of Rinse Free Express Wash and a bunch of folded up MF cloths in there, and some dry ones for wipedown.. I can keep it in the trunk if on the road. I don't have good access to H2O so this is my wash.

This great concept was one of the first things I learned here.

BillyJack is right. You're neighbors will ask what the heck you got going on there instead of laughing. You will be the one laughing!!!

Oh, and when it gets cold up there it's a no brainer...

We wash the cars once a week.
The neighbours do make fun of us, but some of them also come and ask how we get our cars so shiny as well.

Okay, I'm starting to get interested in this rinseless wash everyone's talking about. Generally, I do the same with GC QD/QW, but QD can only do so much. It takes a strong water rinse to loosen and get the tree sap, humidity dust and condensate off, and then with a blow dry, I have a very clean surface again...for a time. So, what's the real difference between QD and RW, my fellow addicts?

Try a bottle of meg's Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere (it's a waterless wash, but you'll get the idea), you can get it in some auto parts stores.

Rinse Free Express Wash (and RFEwash and Wax) are diluted in water first but need no rinsing. These are real washes, QD's are not. I keep a spray bottle for on the fly bird junk, etc., removal at any time.

um, no....
I've been waterless washing for over 5 years now.
I've cleaned a B17 bomber, Bugatti's, and the best was in the garage of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel WW The Ferrari Club of Dubi... so it's not just for door jams.
