Not saying they shouldn't make a 5.5" pad but it'd be a tough call for Meguiars to make a business case out of it.

Currently they offer 8" pads, 7" pads, 6.5" pads and 4" pads (in both wool and foam configurations), and now 6", 5" and 3" microfibre pads.

Surely in a pure business sense the dilution between variant pad products would make the 5.5" pads unviable.

True. But the 8" pad is strictly rotory. The 7" is the latest and greatest. The 6.5" is the old design and no longer being manufactured here as I was told, and the 4" pads. So really there is only a 7" and 4" foam pad for D/A use. So it wouldnt be that had to make a business case for a thrid size pad for D/A use.

Maybe a bit too soon, but Ultimate Wax 2.0, or a slight update on the current version to address any issues with the product, especially 1st time users of it. To make it more appealing to all. Or how about Ultimate Leather Cleaner/conditioner in one?

I want to be the first to say NXT 3.0 wax. Gold Class got an upgrade a few years back, Ultimate Wax came out and NXT 2.0 has stayed that same and I think it's due.

I would also like to see brushes make a comeback, but I'm not holding my breath. A better than Rain-X water beading glass product could be possible as well.

Ultimate Glass treatment with even more hydrophobic properties, that is easy to apply and remove to complement the perfect clarity glass cleaner.

Some products I am hoping for:
Waterless wash in the detailer line. UWWA is too expensive to use on a constant basis, but it is one of my favorites.
5.5" foam pads. I use the 4" Megs pads and 5.5" B&S pads. I hate how they are color coded differently.
                Body Solvent replacement.

What I would like to see.

                  1.) A polish below M-205

                  2.) updated M62

                  3.) a gallon wash & wax anywhere

                  4.) a new glaze product. A modern day M-7

Matt, Have you seen the Detailer Rinse Free Express Wash D114 ? Sounds like this is what you may be needing

                        Hi Mike,

I have the D114 now and use it quite often. It is my favorite rinse less wash. I've totally stopped traditional washes. If the car is muddy, I just hose it down first.
When the cars are clean enough that I have the choice, I like the waterless better than rinse less. I'm currently using CG Ecosmart which I can get in a concentrate that makes a little over a gallon for just a few dollars more than a bottle of UWWA.
I tried the D114 as a waterless wash at 128:1 as per a thread by Mike Stoops but really didn't like it as much as a designed-from-the-start waterless wash.

The modern day M07 idea is something I also I like, M07 is a good product but honestly a pain to use. Ultimate Polish is good but the abrasives in it is not always necessary. It would be nice to have something like M07 but that's a lot more effortless to use.

Something Ultimate for leather, something with more protection than Gold Class leather cleaner/conditioner

Echoing what others have said, 5.5" pads would be great, as would a finer finishing polish than 205, and a concentrate (gallon) version of UWWA
