And the smell has worn off quite a lot though. I do want to try their new spray detailer that came out earlier this year. LOL I kinda find it strange talking good about a Meguiar's competitor here on the Meguiar's forum though. I feels kinda like it's blasphemey or something. But either way after you described the smell, I really do want to try UQW too sometime soon.
The wash is more like the wax in terms of smell...the detailer and glaze are different. Hmmm...hard to describe...but they're very unique...and going along with the tropical type smell. I love them. Put it this way...if it were made into some type of car air freshner...it would be just fine by me! I found them at wal-mart. Much, much cheaper than anywhere online. I know about discussing other brands...but people seem to do it, now and then.

And just to be clear, the Zymol detailer and glaze..along with Meguiars Quik wax are great products in terms of results besides smelling "oh-so-good"! Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Zymol Cleaner wax..I recently bought a bottle and was disappointed. Tough to remove and it dusted like crazy. I actually had to throw the whole bottle away it was so bad.

Banana smell sounds yummy to me...I will have to pick some of that up!

I've found that some of the Meg's products smell so good that they attract bugs. Usually in the stage between applying the wax and buffing it off, so I have to flick them out of the way to continue.

^ i had to flick a few small fruit flies off my car today when using UQW.....seem my car immediately after detailing attracts birds to use it as a toilet too....so birds are attracted to the smell too?

hah! I have similar bird problems, so I always pull the cars into the garage immediately after detailing.

I wonder if Ultimate Quick Detailer smells anything like Final Inspection (which is one of my fav smells ever). Hmmmm...

The exception to the Meg's great smelling rule seems to be Ultimate Black. It smells pretty rancid!
