    Just beautiful!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Another thing that gets on my nerves is when people like to "talk"

Calling me on the phone , wasting my time asking me questions they already know, putting me on hold, asking them to call them back. I am not talking about random new customers, but people that do this 5-6 times a year.

        Or,

People telling you that they will have you service their vehicle at "the end of the month" or "a couple weeks". And it ends up taking six months to a year to finally set up an appointment. Or sometimes never.

To this day I have one lady in paticular that will approach me while working at another client's house ( I am usually there 2-3 times a month) to set up an appointment for her Hummer H3, and after two years it has never gone beyond that point.

98% of the time I bite my tongue but I couldnt help myself about a year ago & recently in the past few months when a local guy who is a "detailer" tried to steal some of my clients by offering a full detail for $50.

The guy is hurting the market value which hurts me & other professional detailers & himself in the long run. Its basically a hack driving this industry into the ground.
Keep your prices up nick. You're selling a luxury. Me and you both know the guys who do details for $100, $150, $50 are not getting the same clients as you. Not everyone will be your customer. Just like buying cars, some people buy a kia, some people buy a Mercedes. You run run into mercedes and tell them you will only pay $9,995 for one of their cars and they tell you they don't sell anything for that price, but come back when you are able to afford one of their Mercedes brand cars. That's just what you have to do. Tell them to saveup/budget their money and get back with you. You're selling a luxury.

also consider make a contract to have customers sign with price, scheduled details, etc. That way you can close sales.

Only focus on things you can change. You can't control what other people charge, no use in even letting it bother you.
