Based on the form in the QF matches I would have to agree with you, although my predictions in the office pool went with a Netherlands v Spain final, so I'm hoping for Spain to upset Germany in the SF.

I'm routing for the Netherlands to win the cup.

I disagree. I think it's going to be Uruguay vs. Germany. Final score is going to be 3-1 Germany and the cup will be heading to Deutchland! Third is going to the Netherlands, Spain is going home as almost third place.

Spain-Netherlands! A final game that I'm sure no-one would've bet for.

The Spain vs. Germany game tonight was thrilling! We performed better and had many more occasions. Germany's defense was tough but I guess that if a team keeps on attacking again and again they'll eventually score.

I for one am thoroughly dumbfounded at the results of the past two games...not at all how I predicted it. Germany scored MULTIPLE goals in every other game of the cup this year, and flop out against Spain??!!

I'm no longer going to try to call the final two games, I have no freaking idea anymore! Everything is all wrooooooooonnnggg!

Well, I just want to say congratulations to Spain.

I'm not gonna place the blame or say anything that they won on luck or anything.

They won fair and square.

This world cup just gives me more hope for the Oranje that their time will come. Even though they have not one the cup yet, they are still one of the best teams of all time!


P.S.- My congratulations are for the true and real Spanish fans. Not for those jumping on the bandwagon or who really don't know anything about football. Flame all you want! If this get flagged or removed, I know what type of fan reported it!

Congratulations to Spain - the game was a fiasco. After the teams figured out the referee was doing nothing but blowing the whistle, they were falling down left and right. Made for a very boring game.

All I can say is that Paul the Octopus is a freakin' genius! He predicted correctly ALL of Germany's games, as well as the final. Pretty weird!

Germany should have beat Spain worse than Argentina. I'm sorry, but Spain didn't look strong at all against Germany and the Germans were NOT playing well at all compared to Argentina's game. Oh well - congratulations to Spain!
