Last thing they need is more work trying to figure out which cars have OEM HID's and which ones don't.

It really isn't that hard. If they are OEM, for starters, they have projector housings and you do not have the above result [see last picture for a clear example of what I mean]. Also, to all of the above, just because someone doesn't flash you, doesn't mean they don't feel like turning around and pounding you. I've stopped flashing people because they never turn their brights off anyways. If someone has a single-beam HID conversion, what are they going to do, turn off their headlights? Let's be real here people.

of course its not like a projector housing...but from what ive been told it doesent look as bad as it could....i saw this on vid on utube and it was like a wall of light. @ least u can still see my bumper...i wasnt expecting Acura oem and im doing the best with what i got...

They don't all have projector housing. e.g. the 2nd generation Acura TL had HID's, but they were in a regular housing. I'm also pretty sure the Lincoln Mark VIII had HID's with non-projector housings.

No, but they don't have a halogen housing either, and the glare is terrible from them too.

yea. if it wasnt sooo much to get projectors, i woulda already had them...they are like $800-$1,000 + to get them for my car...so they are aimed correctly and if i am blinding ppl, I HOPE PPL WILL FLASH ME TO LET ME KNO (id want to kno so i can try to fix it)...but as i said before i haven't gotten flashed yet...we will see as time goes on...
i would like to get some for fogs but i dont kno where to put the ballast? would a shop install them???

You could maybe zip tie them to a support or try some of that industrial velcro stuff.
