The meguiar forum has saved me time in asking questions(and money by buying the right products the first time). I consider the forum an educational place and tool. It's a shame that people releive their emotions via this forum.

Again, I appreciate the time and money this forum has saved me.

    Thanks meguiars

This is the forum where I get to learn how to use Megs proline realistically and truthfully! Some tips relating to Megs proline from other forums are just hearsay and you end up messing with the product. Thus it's better to get instructions on usage from the manufacturer itself.

I appreciate Mike and the folks at Meguires for hosting this site. Good info sharing and their products and how to use them. Being a NOOB, I enjoy reading past sucesses and failure. I try and learn from these so that I don't repeat the mistakes. Thanks again for a great site.

To me, Mike says it all, "Find something you like and use it often." Meguiar's products are better than any other products that I have used in the past. Plus, all their products can be backed up with scientific proof. And where else can you get all this first hand information from professional people to lead you in the right direction. All I can say is keep up the good work. I'm hooked, because I found something and I am going to use it often.

I am a pro detailer and I need to use products that will bring me results that my clients demand.

If I fail, I don't put food on my table.

I have used Meguiars for over 14 years now.

When it comes to products, of course the Meguiar's forum will tell you how to get results from Meguiar's products.

But when it comes to the process, the Meguiar's forum makes no comments about what product to use; the processes are indifferent to product choice.

(edit: sorry about the upcoming picture quality. I'd uploaded these to photobucket, then downloaded them and reuploaded them to here. They suffered some compression going up to photobucket that shows badly I think.)

I use products that give me the exact same results, every single time. No surprises. I did this car today, a 13 year old black Miata (no surprise, I love Miatas and working on Miatas):

So tell me, with these results, why should I listen to anyone tell me NOT to use Meguiar's products?

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

There are 2 common types of people in this world.

Type A can communicate his displeasure about something without resorting to personal attacks, or product attacks in this case. Type A gets the respect of not only the opposing side, but also of the side that supports him, for eloquently stating his case while keeping it "all business".

Type A might actually get someone to show him how to do something better, or he might actually be right, and cause a change in something. Or both parties will agree to disagree, and still watch football on Sundays together.

Type B is a cousin of Neanderthal man. Speaks before he thinks. He is consumed with his Internet "status". Has a low self esteem. He is a beta male, always challenging the Alpha male, and working behind the scenes to discredit the Alpha's reputation. He is a bully, and uses force to get his point across, or his own way.

The beta male wants soo bad to be the alpha male, but every time he speaks people know he is an impostor.

The best way for a beta male to improve his status, more like the alpha's, is to identify himself for what he is, and then to think before he speaks, put himself in other peoples shoes, exhibit patience, try to understand the dynamics of many things, and to ultimately realize its just wax.

Well said. But now you're going off topic so look to get moved.
