I think treadmills are probably a little easier on the joints... a bit more cushioned impact. I pretty much gave up on the treadmill, because every time I go to get on a treadmill at the gym (after my workout), I always get stuck in front of one of the tvs that has Faux News on. If I see O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck, or Coulter... I go running... in the opposite direction.
... don't want to end my workout on a sour note.
