    Nope. The tree must continue to be groomed throughout its life,otherwise it will grow into a normal full size (maybe) tree. Its like trees on mountains - if they were suddenly transported to lower altitude, they would thrive like any other tree of that species.
    If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?
