Thanks guys, I really like the Bridgestone Dueler HT AT and the BF Goodrich
We'll see what happens tomorroww I guess.
Go and have a look around some web sites aswell. Some models of tire are noisier than others(road noise). If that annoys you, look for cumfort models.I think your choice of either Bridgestones or BFGoodrich are a good choice. The Bridges might be a bit pricey, though. At least they are here.I don't know about the states? Also these newer tires will probably be made with silica and give a bit better grip in the wet,and longevity.
I'm really happy with my Bridgestone Dueler Alenzas. Quiet, great handling and outstanding treadlife. They had a 1.2" wider thread contact patch than my GoodYear Eagles of the same size.
Bridgetone Alenza UTQG data 600, A, A. Around $170 per tire @ TireRack
Goodyear Eagle UTQG data 260, A, A. Around $150 per tire @ TireRack
The Goodyears had no treadlife warranty the Bridgestone Alenza has a 5 Year / 65,000 Miles warranty.
I have 25k on the Bridgestones and the tread depth measures 10/32nds. The OEM Goodyears had 9/32nds tread depth when brand new. The original Goodyear Eagles wore out at 25,000 miles.
My 4x4 off-road model dakota (2006) came with BFG AT/KO and with 22k on it they still look brand-new. They go like a mountain goat in the mud and snow. When it comes time I'll use what has served me well so far unless I find LOTS of better reviews.

Awesome Nick! They are going to look great on your truck, I guarantee it. I was going to get those at first, but I found a deal on my ProComp's.

PS one thing you will find with an A/T Tire like that and using a tire gel is that you need to be very care on application to the area at the outermost part of the tire where there are lots of grooves. If you go too heavy, the gel is going to be in the grooves and will be very hard to get out.
And the way the gel comes out since it is too thick is by splatting all over the side of your car! I know you like Hot Shine, so you may want to try the aerosol and spray it lightly around the edges where it is hard to wipe down the excess.
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like. I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.

Very good advice. I used to have those on my Ranger EDGE and it took me a while to perfect a method to avoid the sling and reduce the application time.
In the end I found that using a folded up microfiber towel as an applicator and using straight strokes that go in the same direction as the stubs on the outside of the tire was the best way to get into the grooves. It's a little time consuming, but worth it.

Not plugging another website, but try visiting either Tirerack, Discount Tire, etc. These usually have a vast database of customer reviews on specific tires. Already, you see many different opinions on which tire is "better". However, take one of the online questionaires on your driving habits, and what characteristics you need in a tire. Then, these stores can match a tire tailored for your specific driving needs.
I have these on my Silverado. Can't say much about them yet because I haven't had the truck very long yet. They are pretty quiet. Haven't tried going off road with them yet. The tread pattern doesn't look very aggressive so I would be nervous venturing too far into the mud.
