This one happens to me all the time when i go to my megs distributor:

You know you're car crazy when you shop at a detailing store just to find out at the cashier that you only have money for half of what's in the cart.

We here at Meguiar's sort of have our own list of "You know you're car crazy when..." ideas:

• You've started looking for sponsors for your daily commute
• You roll down your windows, put your car into neutral and rev it up when going under an overpass
• You have more pictures of your car than of your significant other
• Your refer to your car by name
• You never throw away car magazines, EVER
• Your email address refers to your car rather than to you
• You think that "Gentlemen, start your engines" is the end of the National Anthem
• You refer to the corner at the end of your street as "Turn One"
• You would choose a roll bar over air conditioning if it were an option
• You consider the redline a "conservative suggestion" and the rev limiter "a fun limiter"
• When someone asks where you went to school, you reply, "Skip Barber"
• You own five cars and only one is street legal
• You turn the radio off to listen to the music of your engine
• Your double date includes your buddy -- their car, you and your car

*You talk to your car.

*You look at the passing cars at stop lights to see if their headlights need to be cleared up. Guilty!

*You dream about cars in your sleep. Guilty! I may have actually detailed my car in my dreams.

*Instead of counting sheep, you try to see how many different waxes you know of.

You try to give directions to someone, but you can't remember names of streets or what houses look like, but you remember what kind of car is in the driveway!!!!!

When you try to remember the date something happened, you have to think of which car you were driving at the time to put a time frame on it.

You remember the first time you ever went over 100 mph, in what car. (my older brother, his 53 Olds, in about 1957)

As a kid you picked up sales brochures at first showings of new cars even though there's no way you could buy any car or even drive legally. Then when you were legal but broke, you test drove cars if the salesman would let you. All day.

You know you're car crazy when you visit California for the first time during Spring Break and all you can think about is how much fun Meguiar's TNOG is going to be! (..unfortunately, I couldn't go.. *sigh*)

You know you're car crazy when you visit California for the first time during Spring Break and you go out of your way to locate and purchase some Meguiar's products not found in your hometown!! <-- DEFINITELY did this one!! I bought Ultimate Protectant!!

Both of those happened to me last month! haha!

I know this thread is WAYYY old, but still I've got some good ones!

-You're taking out the trash and you stop by your ride to inspect for dust particles.
