I have Johnny Cash's pedal steel guitar at my house. No joke.

Wonder what his rookie card is worth?

I used to have a boat load of baseball cards from the late 1960's to the early 1970's, but I threw them away.

Probably worth a good chunk of change thats for sure!! I have a card of his but its not a rookie. Wish I had a rookie with me at the game and couldve gotten him to sign it! Man that wouldve been worth tons!!

You don't know how many times I have regretted throwing those cards away.

I'm not exactly sure, but I believe I had a few of Nolen's rookie cards. Not to mention Reggie Jackson's too...plus a host of other cards.

Remember the Seattle Pilots? I had the whole team!

One thing I do have is a ticket to Camden Yards that was autographed by Boog Powell. He was an all-star first baseman for the Oriole's back in Earl Weaver's day.

If I ever get to make the trip out west again, I'll get a photo of Chuck's bomber jacket.

                Re: Who have you met?

                So far I've met

Mario and Michael Andretti and Tom Sneva at 1984 Indy 500 practice

Gary Fencik and Matt Suehy of '85 Chicago Bears at our T-Ball pool party in 1986

Mark Grace of the Chicago Cubs at a baseball card show in 1990 or 1991

Russ Weil of the St. Louis Rams grew up a couple of blocks from us.

Went to High School with a couple of guys that were drafted to play baseball - one each for the Yankees, Twins, and Mariners. Last I knew all but one decided to retire before hitting the majors - the other played a few games for the Mets and Yankees but has spent most of his career in AA and AAA.

Abe Polan (now deceased owner of Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards) and Brent Berry during a stadium tour in 1999

Sam Donaldson of ABC News in front of the White House in 1999

Movie Director James Cameron in front of a hotel downtown Washington DC in 1999

Johnny Rutherford and George Bignotti (famous Indy 500 crew chief) at 2006 Indy 500 Practice

Mario and Marco Andretti at 2007 Chicago Auto Show

Dale Coyne - CART Team Owner and Route 66 Raceway Developer was a client of the architecture firm I used to work for

Norm Abram - Host of The New Yankee Workshop and Co-Host of This Old House at the 2003 International Builders Show

Tom Silva - General General Contractor on This Old House at the 2004 International Builders Show

Sat with 20 or 25 members of the WWE on an 8 hour flight from Honolulu to Chicago in 2006 coming home from our honeymoon. You haven't been cramped on a plane until you and your wife sit between two of those guys in coach all night.

Jimmy Chamberlain was in my math class in high school either sophomore or junior year, sat right behind me. We lived in the same neighborhood as teenagers. He was a really nice guy.

I was in a typing class with Jeff Reed. We were the only two guys in a room full of girls...talk about a happy place for a teenage guy!
