I used to have a boat load of baseball cards from the late 1960's to the early 1970's, but I threw them away.
Probably worth a good chunk of change thats for sure!! I have a card of his but its not a rookie. Wish I had a rookie with me at the game and couldve gotten him to sign it! Man that wouldve been worth tons!!

You don't know how many times I have regretted throwing those cards away.
I'm not exactly sure, but I believe I had a few of Nolen's rookie cards. Not to mention Reggie Jackson's too...plus a host of other cards.
Remember the Seattle Pilots? I had the whole team!
One thing I do have is a ticket to Camden Yards that was autographed by Boog Powell. He was an all-star first baseman for the Oriole's back in Earl Weaver's day.
Nobody, outside of local TV personalities, or local elected officials. But my wife's uncle had Chuck Yeager for a co-pilot in WWII. Plus another uncle knew Elvis Presley before he became famous. He used to pick up a young Elvis in a church bus and taught in some of his Sunday School classes as well. Elvis used to sing and play gospel music in church with his first guitar.
If I ever get to make the trip out west again, I'll get a photo of Chuck's bomber jacket.
