  • Tolco Gallon Pump Dripping

Whenever I use the gallon pump with Hyper Wash, it tends to drip after I have given it one pump. Does this happen to all of you, is there any way to fix it other than just letting the excess in the nozzle drip out?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

Use a cotton swab to swab out the portion that dwells inside the spout and doesn't release during the pumping action?

Place a cup or something under the spout to collect the drips? Maybe a small sponge?

Just trying to think outside the box...

I usually tip the jug forward so that whatever's in the nozzle runs out into the bottle.

Other than that, I haven't figured out any other way to avoid it.

I find some rubber plugs that fit in there and jam it in there after I'm finished pumping. Works well IMO

Tilt if forward to release excess product then plug it.

Yup, tilt it forward. Im sure your local autoparts store would have Vacuum caps to fit over the end of the pump too.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.
