I think it needs to be look @ very close. They are saying it was hitting young aged healthy people, which is never good. Looks like i won't be sharing my buff pads with anyone for a while.

I just got something from our HR department where I work today. Here you go:
Here is what we know to date:
The Swine Flu is an H1-N1 virus which means is it a human transmissible virus.
The first major outbreak was in a major city,Mexico City, and not a third world country. Because of this the CDC believes that in 2-3 months this will have spread to every major city in the world and it will be a pandemic.
That is the bad news. The good news is that the mortality rate to date is very low. The most susceptible are the elderly and the pediatric group. This flu will respond to Tami Flu which is heavily stocked on shelves. Should one take Tami Flu prophylactically(defending or protecting from disease or infection, as a drug) as a precaution before you get it? The answer is clearly NO. Tami Flu only deals with symptoms. It is recommended that you only take it if you develop flu like symptoms. Vaccines will not be available for 5-6 months and since they predict that this will be in every major city in 2-3 months, vaccines will not be available for this first wave. A second wave is predicted and the vaccine should be available at that time.
More good news – the outbreak is occurring in the summer months, not in flu season. This is means if someone gets flu like symptoms it will not be confused with another strain of flu. Recommendations: · Cover nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze. · Use disposable tissues, not cloth handkerchiefs.

Nothing yet in my area. If it hits close to home will raise my guard up.
Practice sound hygiene habits and you lesson the chance of contracting it.
Good to do always. Not just when there is a health scare going on.
Okay, so I'm the one vote for "What the heck is that?" so far. I heard people talking about it today but didn't know what I should be worried about sick pigs. After reading Andys informative post (Thanks man!) and looking it up on google, I'm not too worried.

No, I'm not worried. I let God do all my worrying. His shoulders are a lot bigger than mine. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (I Peter 5:7 KJV)
