    Re: Roundabouts?

Roundabouts are also popping up here in Minnesota as well. I like them, but the one lane ones seem kind of too simple, while multi-lane ones are harder for all of those, well let's just call them stupid people.

There was a new one-lane (wide) roundabout put in hear me last October and driving around over the weekend a lady was going the wrong way in it. It's like seriously, how does that even happen? Oh well.

Plus I hear they are better than stop lights with gas milage so that is also a plus.

        Re: Roundabouts?

Only roundabouts I've encountered in San Diego are on La Jolla Blvd. going from La Jolla to Pacific Beach. Theres about 4 or 5 one laners used to slow down traffic on an otherwise straight road without the use of speed bumps. I was parked in front of one of them doing some shopping at the grocery store when a local in a Bentley GT nonetheless comes racing down at a good 40 on a 25, takes the turn at maybe 30-35 and floors it again. Locals can navigate easily.
